About Us

The CSDED is a Planning and Development District serving seven counties and 20 municipalities in central South Dakota.

At the CSDED we provide technical assistance to our members, economic development groups and businesses and assist in securing funds for infrastructure needs and business opportunities.

We help create wealth and minimize poverty by promoting a favorable business environment, while attracting private capital and jobs through capacity-building, planning, research, grants and strategic initiatives.
